A fine example of Kruger Park accommodation, 4-Star Shishangeni is easily accessible by air or road and comprises three camps: Shishangeni Private Lodge, Camp Shonga and Camp Shawu, each adding a different experience. The emphasis of all three of our camps is on nature without losing the luxury furnishings and superior service our guests are accustomed to.
Shishangeni Private Lodge boasts 22 individual chalets accommodating 44 guests in supreme comfort. Camp Shawu is a more intimate retreat, suitable for up to 10 guests in 5 stunning bush tents overlooking the Mpanamana dam. Camp Shonga is the most exclusive of our accommodation offerings, situated at the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains. It can accommodate just 10 guests in 5 stylish tents.

Shishangeni Private Lodge
Shishangeni Private Lodge offers 22 chalets for 44 guests, including family-friendly interleading rooms and optional mini bars.
Facilities include a game-viewing deck, lounge, gym, spa, and indoor/outdoor dining.

Camp Shawu
Camp Shawu accommodates 10 guests in 5 spacious rooms overlooking the Mpanamana Dam.
A large verandah offers a perfect view of game visiting the water. The central area features a cozy lounge and both indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
Named after the legendary Shawu bull—one of Africa’s Magnificent Seven elephants—Camp Shawu captures the awe and admiration he inspired, aiming to leave guests equally breathless.
Camp Shonga
Camp Shonga is a small intimate bush retreat built in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains, offering views over the African bushveld.
The central facility consists of a charming lounge area including a library and both indoor and outdoor dining area.
The Camp can accommodate 10 guests in 5 individual tents. Shonga allows you to experience the real Africa – majestic, unfiltered and unadorned.
Conferences & Meetings
Our beautifully appointed boardroom provides an intimate setting for small meetings, strategic getaways and conferences, seating up to 32 delegates.
The foyer can be used for cocktail events, tea and coffee breaks or pre- drinks and our two breakaway areas make for ideal one-on-ones or private meetings.
